Affiliate status in the Women’s Studies Program at State University is granted to faculty who demonstrate, through teaching, research or practice, an interest in women’s issues, women's perspectives and subjects of particular relevance to students who seek to reconsider their fields of study with the added dimensionality of gender/sex/feminism/etc.

Faculty members who wish to pursue Affiliate status should submit their vitae and representative syllabi to Suzanne Holt, WMST Director either by email at slholt@kent.edu    or by campus mail to the Women's Studies Program, ATT: Director.

Students are encouraged to contact WMST Affiliates for advising purposes when enrolling in courses for the WMST minor–including the design and planning of their Practicum and Individual Investigation courses. (Students are also encouraged to provide feedback to Affiliates directly as well as to the WMST Director - both positive and negative)
