Guide to Marketing

The Guide to Marketing Kent State University is more than a handbook for individuals and departments involved in promoting Kent State. It includes policies, standards and resources necessary for planning and developing integrated marketing efforts throughout our eight-campus network. Our efforts to publicize the university's people and programs will be strengthened through the use of consistent, audience-based messages. These efforts will also be reinforced through the application of clearly defined standards for graphics, photos and other elements of our visual identity, editorial style and special events. Cooperation in adhering to formal policies and standards will help Kent State achieve the Strategic Plan directive to "articulate and promote Kent State's distinct institutional identity."

Please note: only those sections of the guide that have been updated are currently available.

Please note: The UCM Web site and Guide to Marketing are currently being updated to reflect the university’s move from “Imagine” to “Excellence in Action.” Please check back soon for up-to-date resources that will help you promote Excellence in Action at Kent State University.

In the interim, if you'd like a copy (PDF format) of the existing, unedited Guide to Marketing, contact Ramona Stamm at rstamm@kent.edu.
