Mary Jo Spletzer, of Newton Falls, Ohio, started out as a physical therapy major but quickly switched to public relations. Mary Jo previously attended the University of Findlay where she was the library reporter for the campus paper, The Pulse. Now a junior, she is currently the regional campuses reporter for the Daily Kent Stater and serves as treasurer for PRSSA Kent. After graduation in August 2010, Mary Jo hopes to pursue a career in health care public relations.
