Amanda Kozma, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is a senior public relations major. Prior to working with Flash Communications, Amanda gained her first journalistic experience as the ROTC reporter for the Daily Kent Stater. She recently completed an internship in corporate communications at Hattie Larlham, a center for children with severe disabilities in Mantua , Ohio . She also served as the event planning intern at the Summa Foundation. She hopes working with Flash will help improve her writing abilities and gain hands-on experience. After graduation in May of 2009, she hopes to pursue a career in nonprofit public relations or event planning.
