Bob Christy, Coordinator, Photography Bob Christy graduated from Kent State in 1995 (B.S., photojournalism) after serving in the U.S. Air Force. He covered the 1996 New Hampshire Primary for UPI and then returned to Ohio to work for the New Philadelphia Times-Reporter before joining UCM in 1999. His work has appeared in newspapers around the country and northeast Ohio, and received honors from the Ohio News Photographer's Association and the University Photographers of America Association. |

Jeff Glidden, Photographer Jeff Glidden, a 1987 graduate of Kent State’s photojournalism program, has worked at the university for more than 15 years. He has twice been named Photographer of the Year by the University Photographers Association of America and has received numerous awards from the Ohio News Photographers Association. |

Gary Harwood, Photographer Gary Harwood has served as the university’s chief photographer since 1987, and has been employed at Kent State since 1983. Harwood has won more than 50 regional and national awards from the University Photographers Association of America, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Ohio News Photographers Association. His work has appeared in the Graphis Photo Annual and The Communication Arts Photo Annual. |

Jon Jivan, Video Production Supervisor Jon Jivan earned a B.S. in electronic media production from Kent State University in 2008. Prior to joining full time in 2009, Jon worked at UCM as a student video editor and intern videographer. As a student, his work received numerous awards in the Kent State Film Festival and the Broadcast Educators Association’s Festival of Media Arts. Jon is also a veteran of the Iraq war and a sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve. |
