Take a trip to downtown Kent and experience the sights, sounds and tastes that make our town so unique. Downtown businesses have put together a welcome party for you and your family. We have lots of new shops and eateries that we know you will love and many of them will have welcome specials just for you! Don't miss live music, raffle prizes, fun games and even an opportunity for pictures with Earl & Pearl the Black Squirrel mascots for downtown. All students will receive a free Black Squirrel surprise! Sponsored by Main Street Kent.

If you are registered with SAS as a student with a documented disability, or are wondering if you should/could be registered come to the SAS office (Ground Floor, DeWeese Health Center) and meet the staff, pick up your accommodation letter (if you're already registered), learn about the office and its procedures, and learn how to access accommodations, as well as how to navigate the university as a student with a disability. SAS serves students with a wide range of disability types - from learning disabilities, to AD/HD, to mobility impairments, psychiatric disabilities, visual impairments, D/deaf/heard-of- hearing, chronic illness, etc.
