Headcount Enrollment at Ohio’s Public and Private Colleges and Universities: Fall 2006

File provides data on total enrollment for University Regional Campuses and Private, Not-for-Profit Colleges in Ohio from 1998 to 2006. Also gives total Fall 2006 enrollments for individual public and private (both for-profit and not-for-profit) institutions and the percent change in enrollment from 1998 to2006. Enrollment numbers by sector and a count of graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in each institution during Fall 2006 is given.

Undergraduate Student Diversity at Ohio’s Public and Private Colleges and Universities: Fall 2006    

Includes racial/ethnic diversity of population ages 18-49 for Ohio, The United States, and for individual public and private colleges and universities in Ohio. Also includes percent of students attending part-time, percent over age 24, percent male, and percent first-generation college students for each institution. The percentage of Ohio students making up enrollment and the percent of post-secondary students attending is also given for all public universities in Ohio.

Preparation for College Level Coursework at Ohio’s Public Colleges and Universities

Percent of first-year students taking remedial coursework by institution, age, and subject area, 2006. Remedial instruction as a share of undergraduate FTE and state support for remedial instruction as a share of total state support is given for Ohio colleges and universities during 2007. Success measures for first-year, degree-seeking freshmen (2006) by cohort type.

Three-year graduation rates at Ohio’s two-year private institutions and six-year graduation rates at private baccalaureate institutions. Time and credits to associate or bachelor’s degree for non-transfer students graduating in 2005-2006.

Degrees and Certificates awarded at Ohio’s Institutions, 2002-2006. Pass rates for PRAXIS II and III (2005), Health Care Examinations (2005-2007), NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN (2004-2006), and Law Bar. In-state retention of Ohio resident students one-half year following graduation from an Ohio public college or university. In-state employment analysis of Spring 2002 graduates who were employed full-time in Ohio in the 4th quarter of 2002.
