This program is for all graduate students, Graduate Assistants, Research Assistants, Teaching Assistants and Teaching Fellows new to Kent State, whatever their duties. We introduce them to the university and the roles and demands of graduate life. Our 19th Year of ONTAP begins August 2009. We expect more than 350 from Ohio and all over the world. Our Leaders are experienced Teaching Fellows who serve as peer mentors to the small groups.
  • International Graduate Assistants are oriented and tested in oral & written English while all are given guidance in research, tutoring, assisting, and teaching responsibilities
  • Programs follow up ONTAP with training and supervision of their assistants and college teaching courses in the disciplines
  • Further courses and resources will be available during the year
