Kent State University Institutional Review Board (IRB) meetings are held every other Wednesday during each semester and one time per month during the summer months (June-August). Meetings are held in Room 141, Cartwright Hall at 12:00 Noon.

Only Level III Applications require full IRB review.  IRB applications can be submitted to the designated departmental reviewer member list or may be submitted to any of the IRB members.  The initial reviewer determines the level of review.  (For further review information, see the IRB general brochure or the application [hsnew2006 under forms link]).

Level III reviews must be received in the RAGS office, room 125 Cartwright Hall, by 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday prior to the scheduled meeting date to be included on that meeting agenda.  Applications received after that day will be added to the agenda for the meeting following the next scheduled meeting date.
