New President Applauds Supplier Diversity Initiative

Supplier Diversity Mission Statement
Kent State University is committed to a proactive and a comprehensive supplier diversity program that ensures an active and full participation of historically disadvantaged, economically and socially underutilized businesses located within the university's geographic region and beyond with specific attention to include Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WOBE).
Kent State University recognizes supplier diversity as an important component of its overall diversity effort. In Support of those efforts, the Procurement Department fosters continuous relationships with minority suppliers.
