FOR ASSISTANCE ON CAMPUS, CALL 24444

If your car or a visitor's car becomes disabled while parked on campus, Parking Services' Motorist Assistance Program offers the following free, on-campus services:

  • JUMP STARTS We will jump start your battery.
  • VEHICLE UNLOCKS If you lock your keys in your car, we will attempt to unlock it.
  • GAS TRANSPORTS We will drive you to the nearest gas station and provide a can for you to purchase gas.
  • TIRE INFLATES We will put air in your tires, but we cannot change flats.

The hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
You can call the Parking Services' dispatcher at 24444 for assistance.
Summer and break times may vary.
(Phone the Campus Police at 330-672-2212 if you need assistance after hours or during the weekend.)

When calling for service, please provide your name, license plate number, make, model, and color of vehicle, location of vehicle, and service needed. Raise the hood, if possible, and stay with your vehicle until assistance arrives. Motorist assistance calls will be responded to by blue and white vehicles marked "Parking Services" or a KSU police cruiser. Prior to any services being completed, you will be required to sign a release of liability form and show your drivers license.
