The upperclass experience, three credit course is an action-oriented opportunity for students that emphasizes interdisciplinary and cross-cultural learning and decision-making with integrity. The course focuses on team building, offering participants the opportunity to do an intense self-assessment and thus come to a better understanding of how they impact others. Learning to Lead is offered through the College of Business and Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA) and incorporates a week-long leadership retreat. Students should enroll for M&IS 44095. This course is a substitute for Dynamics of Leadership and one leadership course in the department of Public Relations. Consult with your academic advisor for  more specific information. The course is offered twice each year--usually two weeks prior Summer I and the week prior to spring semester. Check with the College of Business for specific dates. Students are engaged in a mentoring program with faculty and staff the semester following their experience, and engaged in a service-learning project.
