Volunteer Awards and Recognition

VolunteerAt Kent State University, we pride ourselves on our commitment to serving others in and around our community. In 2008, we began to formally recognize faculty, staff, students, student organizations, and community partners to showcase volunteerism, service-learning and community engagement. In April of each year, we gather to celebrate the accomplishments of students, organizations, faculty, staff, and community partners.

The 2008-2009 Celebration of Service "Making a Difference: Recognizing Kent Staters Who Care" was held at 6:30pm on Monday, April  20, 2009 in the ballroom on the 2nd floor of the Kent State Student Center. Below are the awards that were given out. If you have any other questions, please contact Ann Gosky at agosky@kent.edu or by phone at  (330) 672-8004.
