Training Programs

One of the Center’s missions is to improve the public and non-profit sectors by training, and it hosts a variety of programs meant to accomplish those ends.

The Elected Officials Academy is a semester long program and was started in order to teach new or experienced public servants about the methods of Public Administration that would best benefit them in their professional lives.

The Mayor’s Court Clerks Professional Development Program is a program that was developed in collaboration with the Education Committee of the Association of Mayor's Court Clerks of Ohio.  This program instills in Mayor’s Court Clerks the ability to meet goals related to professional development, skill building, management, and legal issues.

The Center’s Ohio & West Virginia Municipal Clerks Program was another program developed to train Municipal Clerks about their duties and as assistants to officials.  Being accredited by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, the Program allows Clerks to become certified by providing education and training in areas of responsibility.
