Policy Leadership - April 7 - May 5, 2010

The academy explores the role of the public officials and focuses on both Personal and Policy Leadership. Hear from experts and interact with other local officials as you learn the critical functions of the public official that defines day-to-day and future success.

There are two 5-week sessions, the first is on Personal Leadership and the second is on Policy Leadership. The academy meets on Wednesdays and you attend at either the Kent, Ashtabula or Salem campus.

Personal Leadership program will aim to enhance your personal understanding of local government laws affecting you and your responsibility to your constituents.  The Policy Leadership program will focus on the basic skills necessary to fulfill your policy-making role on the legislative body.
