John
Hoornbeek, Ph.D., Director
Dr. Hoornbeek has served as a policy practitioner at
the federal, state, and local levels of government in the
Kerry Macomber, M.P.A., Senior Research
Associate
Kerry Macomber serves as a manager for the Center, coordinating training
programs, providing technical assistance, and acting as a liaison with
external audiences and the on-campus community. She also
seeks out and responds to grant opportunities that further the Center’s
public service and research mission. Mrs. Macomber is a dedicated,
civic-minded professional with a demonstrated results-oriented management style
exhibiting high energy, efficiency and collaboration. Her educational
background includes a Master of Public Administration from
Kathleen Loughry, Office Manager
Mrs. Loughry
oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the Center. She also
works with the Washington Program in National Issues and the Columbus Program
in Intergovernmental Issues.
Melissa
Koeka,
Graduate Student Research Assistant
Ms. Koeka is currently working with Center staff on TMDL (Total Maximum Daily
Load) research. She is presently pursuing her Master of Public Administration
focusing on Public Policy and Environmental Policy. Ms Koeka received her
Bachelor of Science from
Sayantani
Satpathi, Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant
Ms. Satpathi works with the professional staff on Center projects. She is
presently pursuing her Ph.D. in Environmental Politics. She is also a
summer employee at the Center for Public Administration and Public
Policy. She is collaboratively working on several projects such as the
Northeast Ohio Mayors’ Think Tank Policy Statement #10 and Water Resource
Management.
Matt Flemming,
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Mr. Flemming works with the Center staff on projects. He is currently
pursuing his undergraduate degree in Political Science with a concentration in
Public Policy, with plans of attending law school after graduation. Mr.
Flemming is currently working on the Ohio E-Government project, as well as
contributing to the Center's research and cataloging of various methods of
government collaboration throughout the state.
Ashley Lerch,
Undergraduate Student Assistant
Ashley is currently pursuing her undergraduate
degree in Business Administration. She
is responsible for assisting the Center with organizing, preparing materials
for the various training programs, technical assistance projects, and research project. She is currently helping with the Ohio &
West Virginia’s Municipal Clerks Program.
