The Controller's Office processes and reports on the ongoing financial transactions of the university in the most timely, efficient manner possible while maintaining appropriate levels of internal control. This includes assuring that funds due the university are collected, posted, deposited and reconciled timely and accurately; assuring that all transactions involving student accounts are in compliance with university policy and federal regulations; administering and reporting of all grants and contracts for the university including the monitoring of compliance with all applicable regulations; timely recording and reporting all required financial information to both the university community and appropriate external agencies; processing payments to all vendors accurately and on time; and processing all university payroll accurately and timely, including remitting all statutory and voluntary payroll deductions to appropriate agencies.
