Students that register for classes through July 13, 2005:
Schedule bills will be mailed July 1, 2005 through July 13. 2005. Payment must be received in the Bursar’s Office by August 2, 2005. The student’s class schedule will be listed below the invoice. To retain a preregistered class schedule and room assignment, students must make full payment, make appropriate payment through one of the payment options that are listed on the Payment Options page, or receive sufficient financial aid to cover all fees by 5:00 pm, August 2. The Bursar’s Office will process late payments received in the office between August 3 and August 5, 2005. If processed, you will be assessed a $30.00 nonrefundable late payment processing fee. Preregistered schedules not paid August 5, 2005 will be canceled. The Bursar will notify students, in writing, at their permanent addresses if their preregistered class schedules have been canceled. STUDENTS SHOULD NOT ASSUME THAT CLASSES WILL BE CANCELLED FOR AN UNPAID BALANCE. PROPER PROCEDURE SHOULD BE FOLLOWED TO WITHDRAW FROM CLASSES. Students that register or add classes from July 14 - August 2, 2005:
NO INVOICES WILL BE MAILED FOR CLASSES ADDED AFTER JULY 13, 2005. Students registering July 14 - August 2, 2005 may list fees on the telephone following their telephone registration activity, check the fees at wfs.kent.edu, or come to the registrar’s service counter in the Michael Schwartz Center to have a schedule/bill printed. Payment must be made by August 2, 2005. The Bursar’s Office will process late payments received in the office between August 3 and August 5, 2005. Payment is due September 2, 2005 for students who register during the registration period of August 3, 2005 - September 2, 2005. Late payments will be processed, but may not result in the schedule being saved.
Payment is due September 10, 2005 for students who register during the Late Registration period (anytime after September 2, 2005). Two types of late charges may be incurred starting September 5, 2005:

* Only one late non-payment fee will be charged to any student during the semester. Students that are reregistering are charged the $100.00 late/non-payment fee automatically.
Classes added after September 2, 2005 are not subject to immediate cancellation if not paid by the September 10, 2005 due date. Deregistration from all classes by the University could occur at a later date for non-payment of fees. |
