It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the account information is correct, in particular the address information. Kent State University has a no forwarding order on all mail, any mail that can not be delivered as addressed will be returned. An incorrect address can delay a refund or important tax information.
Address types:
University E-mail address: E-Statements are the only form of billing at KSU and will be sent to the student e-mail account. Students may create Authorized users who would also receive this notice.
Local address: This should be the student's local address if they are not living at the permanent address or in the dorms.
Permanent address: Student's permanent address (typically a parent's address).
Campus address: This is the dorm address and is updated by Residence Services.
IRS 1098T: Create this address if you wish to have your 1098T form mailed to an address other than your permanent address.
