Lt Col Lowell E. Bailey Jr.

AFROTC Detachment 630 located at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio.  As the Commander, he is responsible to  the University President and the AFROTC Commander for recruiting, training, motivating, and educating Air Force candidates. He leads, directs, and manages a staff that administers the college-level officer training program. As the senior Air Force officer on campus, he has dual responsibilities as Detachment Commander and Chairman of the Department of Aerospace Studies with the rank of full professor.
