Gifts of appreciated securities may offer better tax benefits than a gift of cash. There are three ways to make a contribution: 1. Electronic transfer. Physical securities registered in the foundation's name. For donors who wish to have shares transferred into the Foundation’s name, consult your broker/agent or the security issuing agent for instructions. The foundation’s Federal Tax Identification Number is 34-6576307. After completion of transfer, send security via registered mail to the foundation. Please include a transmittal letter identifying the name and address of the donor, security description and quantity, and intended purpose of the gift. 3. Physical securities in the donor's name.
