Welcome to the Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost

Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Robert G. Frank is the chief academic officer for Kent State University. Under his leadership, administrators and staff within the Division of Academic Affairs are dedicated to serving the university and to fostering the success of students, colleagues and units. The Office of the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost has overall responsibility for 20 academic units including eight colleges, undergraduate studies and seven Regional Campuses located throughout Northeast Ohio. The office also has overall responsibility for curricula, planning and academic resource allocation, instructional and research programs, research, planning and institutional effectiveness, student success programs, management of academic personnel records, faculty and staff development, institutional diversity, university ceremonies and the publication of the Graduate and Undergraduate Catalogs.
